The Office of the Provost has appointed Dr. Kwon as the interim Dean of The School of Arts and Humanities

Tsaile, AZ – The School of Arts and Humanities at Diné College is pleased to announce Dr. Kwon as interim. Dr. Kwon previously served as a faculty member from 2016 to 2021 and resumed his role in the spring of 2024. Dr. Kwon brings extensive experience in teaching composition, literature, creative writing, and film. He holds a Ph.D. in English Studies from Oklahoma State University, where he focused on creative writing and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages).
Born in Korea, Dr. Kwon emigrated to the United States at a young age and has since lived in New York, New Jersey, and New Mexico, among other states. His diverse background and academic expertise significantly contribute to the dynamic learning environment at Diné College.
