Tsaile, Ariz. – Navajo Transitional Energy Co. (NTEC) contributed $20,000 to Diné College in support of the Navajo Cultural Arts Program (NCAP), furthering efforts to preserve, sustain, and revitalize Navajo culture through the arts.

The donation will fund essential materials for students participating in NCAP during the Spring and Fall 2025 semesters. The program, housed within the college’s School of Arts and Humanities, focuses on developing students as self-sustaining craftspeople who are skilled in both traditional and contemporary Navajo art techniques. The funding will provide resources such as silver, turquoise, leather, yarn, and weaving tools, ensuring students have the supplies they need to advance their skills.

NTEC also allocated $5,000 of the donation to support the annual Art Walk, an event designed to give students hands-on experience in marketing and showcasing their creations. This initiative prepares students for professional success while celebrating the artistic heritage of the Navajo Nation.

NTEC’s donation highlights its dedication to initiatives that strengthen cultural heritage and foster educational opportunities for the Navajo community. By supporting NCAP, NTEC contributes to a future where education and cultural preservation advance hand in hand.
