Our 4th of July weekend fishing tournament is designed with the sole purpose to build relationships with the local/regional community & raise funds to support student scholarships and academic advancement.

!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION !!
- Diné College does support catch & release practices.
- Navajo Nation fishing licenses are required for all participants 12 years of age or older.
- NN Fish & Wildlife will be present to enforce this rule.
- Mandatory life jacket requirement for all participants on the water.
- Participants caught w/o a life jacket while on the water will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.
- Safety is our number one priority; therefore, we highly recommend fire safety, water safety and outdoor safety be taken seriously.
- Due to the current Navajo Nation fire hazard rating, no open fires will be permitted.
- Gas grills only.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Tournament Entry Fee (Applies to ALL AGES)
$50 EARLY BIRD RATE – Covers Saturday and Sunday until July 1st
$75 PER DAY WEEKEND OF RATE – (July 2 & 3)
Navajo Nation fishing licenses will be required for all participants 12 years of age or older.
Registration & Check-in:
5:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Diné College NHC Parking Lot
Early Bird registration can be purchased with a credit/debit card online throughout the month of June.
On June 1st, people can register in-person onsite at the Tsaile Main Campus (Ned Hatathlie Center, 6th Floor, Business Office #630-A) from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The rate on Friday, July 1st will be the $50 Early Bird Rate. Cash, cards & money orders will be accepted by the Cashier.

Largest Fish (1st, 2nd, 3rd place)
Will be determined by measurement. Tie breaker will be determined by weight.
Furthest Cast (Ages 4 – 10 and Ages 11 – 17)
Most Trash Picked-Up (1st , 2nd , 3rd place)
Raffle (Kid category & Adult category)
