Diné College Hosts Wellness Day for Employees

Shiprock, NM – In celebration of health and community, the Diné College Department of Human Resources and the External Campuses came together to host a Wellness Day filled with engaging activities, and a delicious meal. Dr. Pherphia Fowler, Director of Human Resources at Diné College, stated that “Wellness in the workplace is not just a perk, it’s essential. We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received approval to expand wellness opportunities for our employees, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.”

he event also featured a statement from Winifred Jumbo, Director of the External Campus, who shared, “The day was a tremendous success. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to focus on what truly matters—our health and well-being.”

The Employee Wellness Program is designed to empower staff through a variety of wellness initiatives, underscoring Diné College’s commitment to a healthy, balanced work environment.
