Diné College Athletics Rodeo Team Competes at NMSU Collegiate Rodeo in Las Cruces, NM

Las Cruces, NM – The Diné College Athletics Rodeo Team demonstrated their skills and team spirit at the New Mexico State University (NMSU) Collegiate Rodeo this weekend. The victory showcased their skills and highlighted their ability in the sport. Lane Bitsilly and Dean Holyan secured a win in Team Roping, with Holyan also taking the top spot in Tie Down, extending the team’s reign in the rodeo arena.
The two-day event, held on Friday and Saturday, where the Diné College team, composed of seven student-athletes, faced off against some of the best collegiate rodeo athletes in the region.
The winning team, Bitsilly and Holyan, have consistently proven to be competitors. Their latest victory in Team Roping highlights their skills and talents. Holyan’s additional win in Tie Down showcases his commitment to rodeo sports.
