Bashas’ Grocery Vendor Summit Held at Dine College

TSAILE, AZ – Diné College hosted the Bashas’ Grocery Vendor Summit, an event aimed at promoting community education and building relationships within the Navajo Nation. The summit brought together various vendors and stakeholders to discuss essential topics pertinent to the grocery industry. Ike Basha, a representative from Bashas’, articulated the summit’s core purposes: to educate the community, collaborate with multiple stores across the Navajo Nation, and build new relationships that benefit all parties involved.
“This summit is a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices. We aim to empower our partners with information on finance, distribution, product launching, and food safety & regulations,” said Basha.

Founded in 1932 in Chandler, Ariz. Bashas has grown from a single store to over 100 locations statewide.
