SREP Final Presentations and Digital Stories

Diné College students to present summer COVID-19 research this Friday

TSAILE – Students from Diné College’s Summer research Enhancement program (SREP) will give final presentations about their research and digital stories on Friday July 31.

The topics of the presentations include:

  • The impact of COVID-19 on the mental health of caregivers on the Navajo Nation,
  • The impact of COVID-19 policies on mental health within the Navajo Nation
  • The impact of COVID-19 on Diné College employees.

SREP is a unique summer program for Native American students interested in public health research and has provided the program every summer since 2000. The vision of SREP at Diné College aims to prepare Native American students for careers in public health and health research and to strengthen research capabilities of tribal colleges and universities.
