Information
Diné College in Crownpoint, New Mexico is located across Basha’s Supermarket. Being one of four regional sites, the Crownpoint Center serves Eastern Agency through higher education as well as support services to community needs. Our main academic focus is to provide an education that will allow students to transfer to other colleges and universities throughout New Mexico and Arizona, including Ft. Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. The Crownpoint Library provides community services such as Internet access and data gathering through library collection, and workshop trainings in computer usage.
With Gallup, NM (55mi), Farmington, NM (82 mi), and Albuquerque, NM (125 mi) surrounding Crownpoint, our institution serves as the gateway to historic Chaco Canyon (40 mi). Academically, our students choose to improve their educational needs by completing their studies in Liberal Arts, Social & Behavioral Sciences, and Business Administration as well as the general education requirements within New Mexico, all focused on a long term plan to achieve a bachelor and master degree.
Diné College Crownpoint Center also works with the Navajo Nation, other community based organizations, businesses and partnerships in creating a successful Adult Education Program with testing done through the Shiprock Adult Education Program.
